This piece is specifically made to address systemic oppression on Black and Brown people of america. The way I see the american flag is not based on patriotism, what I see on the american flag is  thinly veiled white supremacy veiled as patriotism. When a president openly calls for violence against people who are asking for basic freedoms I do not see a flying american flag as pride for a nation. We must do better for our countrymen who suffer from white supremacy. We must do better to change injustice..No justice, No peace!
